I'm having an issue with RDS Licensing on a 2012 server
We have one 2012 server that has all the RDS services on it and this is part of a SBS 2011 Domain.
We keep getting in the event log
The Remote Desktop Session Host server does not have a Remote Desktop license server specified. To specify a license server for the Remote Desktop Session Host server, use the Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration tool.
I have set the License server in the configuration as well as by group policy. If I run the RD Licensing Diagnoser it reports that there is a server configured and that there are 3 out of 10 Licenses available and there are no issues
The RD License Manager shows that we have 10 per User Licenses with 7 Licenses issued and 3 remaining, but the issued Licenses all have an expiry date against them of 67/68 days after they were issued. Also if I right click on any of the issued Licenses the revoke option is greyed out.
This server is supposed to go Live very shortly so My question is, is the Licensing working and a full license will get issued after the expiry date, or will the users be unable to logon to the server when thier RDS cal expires, will I be able to revoke any of these issued RD Cals once all the available pool has been used.
Can anyone help out with this
