Win8 to a Win2008R2 RDP administrative session with RDP8?

Hello,

I've recently made the group policy changes needed to enable RDP 8.0 between Win8 and Win7 systems and I get the signal strength bars indicating that RDP 8 client is being used.

But, when I connect from the same Win8 system to an administrative RDP session on my Win2008R2 system (with the necessary updates installed), I don't get the signal strength bars. How can I tell if my RDP connection in this case is v8.0?
