Is there a way to auto log off a session if it reconnects?

Hello!

I have a client who I've set up with a remote app for one of their software systems, it opens up an RDP session and goes directly to the program. The problem is that sometimes the user is randomly disconnected and if they try to log back in, they are unable to due to the terminal server already having an active session. Setting a timed log off or inactive amount of time to log off won't work in this case because the end user needs to get back in to the program immediately. I have to manually end the terminal services session on the server for the user to log back in. Is there a way to set the server to auto log out a session when the user logs in with another session?

Or, if anyone has an idea why this is happening and how I can resolve the real problem, any input is welcome. I'm not seeing any errors in the event log that would explain it.

Thanks!

Jenny
