RD Gateway Manager - Proxy between .com and .local domains not working

Hello,

We have 2 servers that I'm trying to get RD Web Access working on with Load Balancing. Server A is a domain controller for a .local domain. Server B is part of the domain and has the RD Gateway, RD Web Access, RD Connection Broker, and RD Session Host roles installed.

The RD Gateway is listening on a public IP tied to a .com domain. When I try to connect to the server through the RDWeb page, it connects successfully to Server B, but it fails when trying to connect to Server A via load balancing.

If I manually setup a .rdp file, I can specify the .local server name and the .com name in the connect anywhere settings and it works correctly. The question is, how do I get RD Gateway Manager / RD Web to specify the correct name in the generated .rdp file OR am I going about this completely the wrong way?

Both of these servers are 2012 R2

Thanks.
