I'm just noticing a weird issue with RDP on my Windows 7 Workstation. I normally use the Remote Desktops program (tsmmc.msc), to RDP to other Windows workstations and Server 2008R2 servers and that works fine.
Today I just tried to RDP to few Server 2008R2 servers using the normal Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc), and I get the error "The remote computer requires Network Level Authentication, which your computer does not support."
I tried using mstsc on another Windows 7 workstation to connect to these servers and it worked fine, so there is just some issue with my specific workstation. And since I can still use tsmmc.msc to remote to them, the issue just seems to effect mstsc. Has anyone ever seen this before? Is there a place I can go to view and or compare the RDP settings on my workstation versus another workstation where this is working.
