I'm re-opening this post because a mod locked it after he replied one time. I have no idea why the original thread was locked since there was only 1 reply in the entire thread and it was him trying to help. I'm still experiencing these issues despite having followed the mods instructions.

Hello Everybody,

I'm having several issues with RemoteFX and am hoping that people can help me out. Basically I have Windows 7 Enterprise VMs running on Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V. I am attempting to connect to them using a Remote Desktop Connection through Thin Clients running WES7. I have installed both the RDP 8.0 and DTLS updates on both the VM and the Thin Client station. I have enabled RDP 8.0 and RemoteFX USB Device Redirection in the group policy for both machines, ran gpupdate /force and restarted both of them as well. When I connect to the VM I also see the connection bar and RemoteFX USB Redirection buttons.

All that said my first issue is with USB Redirection. Whenever I redirect a usb device to the VM the VM is recognizing it as a USB Composite Device and not installing any drivers for plug and play devices. I am unable to get a Logitech USB Headset to actually work. Also, when I attempt to install drivers on the VM for a Logitech Webcam, the driver software detects that the webcam is plugged into USB 1.1 regardless of the fact that it is plugged into USB 2.0.

My second issue is that Windows Aero is not enabling so I'm only getting the Windows Basic Scheme.

Any help or suggestions with these issues would be greatly appreciated since I'm stumped.
