RWW error: Wizard cannot configure Remote Desktop Connection settings. W7 Home Premium to SBS 2008r2

Hello I am the administrator for a small network of users and of those there are a handful of remote sales people. I am running Windows 2008r2 SBS server & the client computers with this issue are W7 Home Premium PC's that are not a part of the network. When they go to our Remote Web Workplace (RWW) portal they can successfully log in, check email & load the company web, but when they try to connect to their office PC they get the following message:

The wizard cannot configure Remote Desktop Connection settings. Make sure that the client version of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) 6.0 or later is installed on this computer.

Our SBS server went down recently & was rebuilt. It was restored from the last good Windows Backup as a full restore.

These users could all connect before the crash, but are now unable to do so.

The RWW is working as other systems such as my own XP pro PC at home can connect just fine. This is a 2008r2 server that is full patched and up to date. I have searched this forum for answers as well as the Internet as a whole & have tried multiple solutions to attempt to solve this problem & none have worked.

Solutions tried: 2008 Rollup 6 (Already installed), created an exception on the server firewall for remote desktop, adding our company RRW portal  to the user's IE trusted sites, attempted to download RDP 6 (which failed as the PC uses RDP 8) I even removed the installed Norton Firewall/Anti-virus & turned on Windows Firewall / Microsoft Security Essentials on the laptop in case that was interfering with the connection.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
