We have a windows 2003 environment with office 2007 installed (22 hp dl 380 g4's). And now we have a new 2008 r2 environment with office 2007 installed (7 hp bl 460 c g7 blades). We cant completely switch off the 2003 environemnt until we get all the nicks resolved. Now one of the main issues we have been having is that in our new environment we have users randomly complaining that when they hit send in outlook it doesnt do anything it just stays in outbox. THey get the error message (0x80070005) "You dont have appropriate permission to perform this operation" when you click on send/receive. They can receive email but not send emails. I see a send receive error at the bottom.
I have also noticed after quite a while that the email eventually gets sent, but this may or may not allways be the case and it just stays in the outbox. Also some of the users are getting miffed due to some of the issues like this and then go back to the old 2003 environement and use their outlook 2007. THe only way right now to counter this issue is to reset their profiles. Its not happening to everyone but like 2 or 3 a day out of 50 users. And sometimes even after resetting the symptom comes back with the same user.
Any idea on whats going on ?
