I was wondering what kind of logic RDS Host applies when multiple RDS Licensing Hosts are assigned and ALL ARE AVAILABLE?
E.g. in DNS if the first server responded "not found" then DNS resolver takes it as truth and does not seek further opinions.
Does RDS Host send query to 1st RDSLic server and wait for an answer before asking other RDSLic hosts? Will it seek further answers if the response received is not "favourable"?
Is there a way to control this client logic on the client side?
Imagine I have an RDS host MYHOST requesting PER DEVICE license but the first RDSLic host has only PER USER CALs available. Will MYHOST seek answers from other hosts in the configured list?
Same about other types of licenses, e.g. 2003 TS CAL requested but only 2008 CALs exist and downgrade is a/disabled; b/enabled?
Has anything relating to this logic changed in 2012?
