We have a Windows 7 client that logs in to our Server2008 running Terminal Services.
When it logs in via a VPN tunnel using RDP 6.1 the local printer is redirected.
When it logs in via RWW using IE10 the local printer is not redirected and the System event log on the Server2008 shows an ID 1111 error (driver required for printer is unknown).
A different computer also running Windows 7 and IE10 with the same printer installed gets its local printer redirected with no problem via RWW. In both cases the check box for printers is checked when logging in and firewalls are turned off. Both computers are side-by-side at my location for testing (same ISP).
I have read many posts in many forums and cannot find the answer to this problem. It seems to me more like a workstation problem than something wrong with our server, but I need help to further trouble-shoot this.
