After applying MS Update KB2592687 to the client (Windows 7), the public CA issued certificate is no longer seen. Remote Desktop Connection prompts the certificate is not from a trusted certifying authority. The Remote Desktop Gateway server checks out
OK and the certificate it is using is the public CA issued one (both in RDG Manager and IIS). Uninstalling KB2592687 on the client does not help, however clients without KB2592687 ever installed have no certificate errors.
