I just replaced my existing Windows 2008 enterprise terminal server (32-bit) with a Windows 2008 enterprise x64 terminal server to utilize the larger memory resources. The first terminal server no longer exists and is not using any of my device CALs.
I am getting ready to activate terminal server licensing on the x64 terminal server and need to know if the 80 already purchased device CALS on my TS licensing server will work for a x64 server. My current licensing server is a Windows
2008 enterprise 32-bit server, does this have to be x64 as well? Also each device has two concurrent connections to the terminal server - with device CALS will this utilize one or two device CALS?
