Terminal Server - Server 2003 R2 SP2
Terminal Server License Server - Server 2008 R2 SP1
When I attempt to use the remote control feature via task manager, the request pops up on the user's screen, and once they push yes the screen flashes black, and then displays on my screen "Session (ID xx) remote control failed."
If I attempt to do the remote control via Terminal Services Manager, the request pops up on the user's screen, and once they push yes the screen flashes black, and then displays on my screen "Session (ID xx) remote control failed (Error 7054 - The system has reached its licensed logon limit. Please try again later"
However, checking the RD Licensing Manager on the license server, I see 60 per user CALs. It does say "reporting not available" under Available, but I understand this does not indicate a problem.
There are only about 40 concurrent TS users, so it's not running into an actual license limit.
Running LSview on the TS, it is pointing to the correct license server and reporting OK.
I have verified LLS is disabled on the TS.
I have verified the permissions for remote control are set correctly (even for testing setting them to full allow for both admins and users, no change.)
Time on the license server and TS is correct and identical.
I've tried removing terminal services, rebooting, reenabling it, and THEN it worked, but after another reboot, goes right back to the same issue.
I've searched the heck out of this one but haven't found any other possible solutions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
