My environment is Windows 2008 R2. I just installed RDS session broker server and license server role on the same server. But I don't have any license installed yet.
However I found connection broker servcie can't start after the role is installed. I checked the event log, it just simply saying the service "entering stop mode". I tried to manaully start it in the services, the service is started and then stopped right away with message as "The Remote Desktop Connection Broker service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"
Do I have to install a license at the first to be able to start this service? I remember I read somewhere mentioned a 90 days temporary license will be used after installation.
Any suggestion?
