I have 4 Windows 2012 servers , 3 are Session Hosts and the other acts as a Connection Broker, Gateway and License server. All are in a domain and on the same subnet.
When I try to RDP to any of the session host servers with a user which has a CAL assigned to it which is over 30 days old, I get an error "The remote session has been disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers are available to provide a License. Please contact the server administrator"
If I try to RDP with a different user which has a CAL assigned to it under 30 days old, everything works fine.
I've tried the registry hacks, MSLicensing key, RDS Grace Period removal but to no avail.
Has anyone got any idea what is wrong here? All diagnostic tolls and Licensing tests result in everything being in order.
