My company has a need to allow remote users at branch offices to run remote applications hosted at a corporate office.
I have been reading about the possibility of using RemoteApp for this, and it looks like it's greatly improved in 2012 (and 2012 R2) server.
One of the big things for these remote sites and branch offices is that I never really know what security settings the users are going to be dealing with on the clients where they sit. So my question is whether RemoteApp in 2012/2012 R2 still requires an ActiveX control in order to operate?
Also, what are the other browser-specific requirements and guidelines for the 2012/2012 R2 versions? I am struggling to find documentation for these latest versions on TechNet...
