I have a Remote desktop services 2012 setup with two Session host servers and two Connection broker servers. solution is design for high available. there are around 500 computers connecting to the RDS and everything working fine.
i only had one licensing server in one of a connection broker server. we use Enterprise agreement for licensing and its Device CAL's.
because of the requirement of HA, i have put the licensing role on other connection broker server. and installed different stack of Device CAL's to that.
Now most of the windows 2003 server Client's who do RDP to the system are receiving following error. and they cannot login to the system.
The Remote Session was disconnected because the remote computer received an invalid licensing message from this computer.
After restarting the clients, users are able to login to the system. then i have seen all there clients are in Temperory license state in RDS License servers.
any one have an idea why this is happening ?
