When I log on as Administrator on our Server 2012, I am getting the following message:
"Remote Desktop licensing mode is not configured
Remote Desktop Services will stop working in 30 days. Click this
message to launch the RDS session Host Server Configuration tool to
specify a Remote Desktop licensing mode and to specify a license server
for the RD Session Host server to use."
However, when in the RD Licensing Manager it says:
Activation Status: activated Discover scope: WorkGroup Configuration: OK
However, when I am in RD Licensing Diagnoser I see the following problems:
1. The licensing mode for the Remote Desktop Session Host server is not configured.
2. The Remote Desktop Session Host server is within its grace period, but the RD Session Host server has not been configured with any license server.
I'm not sure where to Configure a License Server for the Remote Desktop Session Host Server. The Server 2012 software was given to us by Microsoft through a TechSoup Microsoft Fullfillment and I've had a hard time trying to get tech support for this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
