I have some users on thin clients who log on to a desktop session from our 2008R2 RDSH farm. Each user has a TS Profile that follows them to whatever server they log into.
We're currently planning to switch our main line of business application to be hosted, and intend to set up a cross forest trust to allow our users to log onto a desktop session on the host's RDSH servers with existing accounts from our domain. As I understand it, any roaming profiles or GPO's from our side of the trust would be blocked by default from being applied on their side of the trust, is that correct?
If so, can the host maintain separate roaming TSProfiles on their side that would be used when our users log on to their terminal servers? Assuming they have multiple RDSH servers and a connection broker to load balance between them, we would not want our users to have local profiles on each individual server they might log in to.
Thanks!
