I’ve setup an RDS 2012 R2 environment. I want to grant internet users access to remote apps using the Web Access interface (no RDP client or desktop sessions, only the Web Access interface and have users launch remote apps).
Initially I was thinking of configuring the firewall to redirect the external FQDN and port to the internal Web Access server. I know this can be done but many people recommend not doing this and use a RD Gateway. I’ve found plenty of documentation on how to setup RD Gateway and configure it to have RDP clients access a Session Host farm and launch remote desktop sessions but this is not what I want to do. I want users to access the Web Access server web interface and launch remote apps. I cannot find any documentation on how to do this with via a RD Gateway server.
Can anyone provide some step by step details??
