Hi,
I have a Windows 2012 R2 environment, I am running 4 RDS servers using "User Profile Disks"
They are shared from a Windows 2012 R2 File Server.
for some reason some of the UPD don't get unmounted from the RDS servers when users log off, when I open up the folder in c:\users, I see a folder TOSHIBA, this looks like the print driver is stopping the UPD disk from unmounting, this doesn't happen to all my users with that driver, it seems to be a random few, but very annoying as users keep getting loaded with TEMP profiles. I have tried updating the driver, but same result I don't really have an option not to use this driver as its the clients only photo copier in the building.
has anyone seen anything like this or have any idea how I can force the UPD to unmount when the user logs off.
I do get a few random warnings in my system log, but don't really see anything else related.
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur in VolumeId: \\?\Volume{b0509b49-52f8-11e3-80ce-005056b04282}, DeviceName: \Device\HarddiskVolume95.
(A device which does not exist was specified.)
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk4\DR72 during a paging operation.
any ideas much appreciated.
Thanks,
