Remote Desktop Display Advanced Appearance Properties

I have a problem with the default display on a Terminal Server running Server 2003 SP2. The difficulty is the RDP session uses the Windows Standard display desktop and with Access 2010 the colors used in the app we run are difficult to see. I would like to either change the Color scheme for Windows Standard or change the colors in Advanced, 3D object. I am able to change the desktop to what I need after I am logged in but it reverts to Windows Standard the next time I login. I looked at the Group Policy and don't see anything in it that allows me to control this. I appreciate any help you may be able to provide.
