In our company we happy use Remote app on our Windows 2008/Windows 2008 R2 servers (around 20 managed MS and other apps) togheter with CRM/ERP/BI. Now we need to incorporate some newly developed for us specialized application in Silverlight with our ERP. We try very hard with local copy of software on each client computer but due to some limitaion or special rules in installation paths and/or files we can't do it.
My simple question is - is it posible and if it is, how to be done, when ERP started like Remote App, produce export files, wich have to be opened with this Silverlight app. That app can be called by the ERP even with command line but it's started on the server and not shown on the client computer. How can be started ? IF we think logigaly, can be done, becouse PDF produced by ERP no server session are opened by the Adobe Acrobat Pro, installed only on the server !
We've tried also to make this Silverlight app like Remot app and not luck again.
