Users Signed in with Temporary Profiles in RDSH Standard Deployment on Server 2012 R2

Hi. I have an two node RDHS standard deployment. I can login to the two session host VM's with both Admin and Domain users without a problemUNTIL I create a session collection and add the two session hosts to the collection. At this point any user I use to login to the session hosts login with a Temporary Profile. 

If I then delete the session collection, reboot the session hosts and login again the temporary profile issue remains. However if I delete the .bak registry keys in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList on the session hosts and reboot, the issue disappears. 

This sounds almost identical to the issue below but the suggested fixes haven't worked and the thread hasn't been marked as answered.
