Hello,
I am very worried of how to get my Windows Server 2012 licensed as terminal server. There are several Posts but either about older Windows Server or doing something with remote sessions, but I dont want to license the clients but the server. I cannot find a feature named like '%terminal%'. There also was a manual from a blogger but there he used a kind of a hack or workaround (forcing erros etc.). That cannot be the right way. I think there's a official way.
But maybe I just did missunderstand it. So I hope to get help here.
I have a Windows Server 2012 installed and acitivated. The problem is only two sessions for remote login are allowed. Thats why I got a terminal server license. But I do not really know what to do.
I often read about I need to install the Terminal Server Licensing Feature. I installed Features recommended in other Threads but I did not get rich of it.
Also please notice that I do not have most knowledge about Windows Server and its services. So some explanaition for "dummies" would be grateful (eg. explaination of abbreviations, shorter stepped advices, correct display name instead of "something-like-names" of buttons and menu entries, screenshots, etc.). Of course links to existing manuals are welcome but then I will have questions to this so please reply then, too.
Thanks for any help :)
