We have almost completed our Remoteapp infrastructure based on w2k8 r2 and wxp SP3 clients.
during the remoteapp testperiod, uses complained that the couldn't switch between documents in the same application anymore with alt tab.
Normally when you locally open for example Excel, and you open 2 excel docs, you can switch documents with alt tab.
But if you open 2 documents in a remoteapp, these documents are opened within the same remoteapp. In the terminal server you see one process excel.exe started.
The only way to switch is using the windows menu in excel.
If you open 2 remoteapps excel(2 processes excel.exe appear), and open in each remoteapp 1 document, you can use the alt-tab combination to switch between remoteapps.
Is it possible to open an additional remoteapp (initiated from the TS) if you open an excel doc from within a remoteapp???????
