Hi Friends,
My company have a Server 2008 R2 Terminal Server with Remote Desktop services installed. The server is assigned a public IP and everyone can Remote Desktop to the server fine from outside. This is a problem now. We want to allow only specific IP addresses from the outside to be able to remote desktop to the server. I know this can be done on the Firewall level (correct?). This problem I am facing is that, some of our employees travel a lot. Only these users should be able to remote desktop to the server from ANYWHERE. I am not sure how to go about doing this. Is there a solution in Server settings already there?
VPN is a solution but we don't want to have them VPN to our network all the time they need to access. Some public internet access don't allow VPN anyways.
