Hello,
We have an AD DS domain with Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machines. We access virtual servers in the domain through RDC, from our local machines. Currently we have a local account with administrative rights on each server. We share credentials of the admin accounts. So all team members log in with the same user name - administrator. That way it’s easy for us to login to a disconnected session and continue someone’s work. Now I have got a requirement to make everyone to login with him/her own credentials. I need to figure out how to configure the system to allow a user to connect to someone’s else disconnected session, WITHOUT providing the password. So we need to login securely to remote machines, but disregard the security, taking over disconnected sessions.
Questions:
Is that possible to connect to someone’s disconnected session without appearing a popup window asking for the password?
If yes, how to do that?
I have researched on remote desktop settings, user accounts and group polices without any results so far. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Julia
