Best way to provide Windows 7 desktop sessions in a WS2012 RDSH environment

I am trying to confirm the best way to provide a Windows 7 desktop in a Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Session Host environment. I only see two ways to achieve this:

• Add a WS2008R2 RDSH to my WS2012 environment
• Switch to a pooled Windows 7 Desktop strategy instead

Any thoughts on which of these if better if I really just need disposable sessions and modest scale?

Any other solutions I may be unaware of?
