My boss came to me yesterday and wants me to setup a Remote Desktop Services server. He wants each session that a user starts to have a unique ip address. Ideally I would like to have the ip address of that session to be associated with a particular user or be related to the AD group the user is in. I have deal with terminal services in Windows 2000 but havent really dealt with it much since then.
He would like it done in the next week. It looks like I will do this with Windows 2012. This server will be used as a
"jump server" so it will be used as an access point to get to various network devices. I have read about using multiple services to implement this but I will have to do it with just one server.
I have been looking for a cookbook or other resource that walks me through this but havent much luck in finding how to do this already written up. My background is dealing with the various network devices that will be accessed from this device. I have a some windows background but not as much as I would like to deal with doing this from scratch.
Would appreciate any links to a document that shows how to get this setup.
Thanks,
Ron
